Gudo Master Gudo Nishijima has been practicing Buddhism for more than sixty years. He was a student of Master Kodo Sawaki, an itinerant priest famous for his efforts to restore Zazen to its rightful place at the center of Buddhism. Master Nishijima was ordained as a priest by the late Master Rempo Niwa, formerly head of the Soto Sect, and has written many books on Buddhism in both Japanese and in English. For over twenty years, he has been giving instructions on Zazen and lectures in English.

ドーゲン・サンガ・ブログ再開のお知らせ

竜樹尊者著「根本的な中論の歌」の日本語訳を作成のため、ドーゲン・サンガ・ブログの送信を中断しておりましたが、一昨日、その日本語訳を完了しましたので、出来るだけ早い時期にブログの送信を再開いたします。ブログの内容は仏教哲学の正確な意味を平易な詩の形で表現したものになると想います。
